In partnership with New Horizon Co-op, the Mental Health Foundation has provided funding to support services, develop new programs, and reach out to more individuals struggling with mental health and addictions issues.
Spiritual and Recreational Enhancement in Recovery
This project will create a new spiritual room to benefit clients recovering from substance use issues, at the Northern Addictions Center, with upgraded exercise equipment to better accommodate clients’ varying abilities.
Surveys identified a need to provide more holistic treatment through strengthened spiritual and recreational components. New items would support individualized recovery plans.
