Join us for the 2nd Annual Chauncey Classic, commemorating Sean’s memory and contributing to a cause that truly matters.
In January of 2022, the world lost a great man when Sean Corrigal, affectionately known as Chauncey, tragically succumbed to suicide at the age of 36. In tribute to their cherished friend and family member, his loved ones created a legacy, the Annual Chauncey Classic, a spirited hockey tournament followed by a community gathering.
The inaugural event in January 2023 was a resounding success, raising $5023 in honor of Sean. His family made the heartfelt decision to channel these proceeds towards the Mental Health Foundation, to support Albertans struggling with their mental health.
Before the main game, we invite families to a special skate session. Snacks and beverages from our snack shack will be available, with both hot and cold options. We’ll ensure everyone stays cozy in a heated tent set up for those braving the cold to cheer on the players.
The celebration continues post-match at Leah’s Bar & Grill. Look forward to prizes, a 50/50 raffle, silent auctions, complimentary snacks, and live music.
