Thank you to all who joined us at the 3rd Annual Chauncey Classic!
In January of 2022, the world lost a great man when Sean Corrigal, affectionately known as Chauncey, tragically succumbed to suicide at the age of 36. In tribute to their cherished friend and family member, his loved ones created a legacy, the Annual Chauncey Classic, a spirited hockey tournament followed by a community gathering.
On January 18th, 2025 we came together to commemorate Sean’s memory and contribute to a cause that truly matters.
The inaugural event in January 2023 was a resounding success, raising $5023 in the first year, $7,609 in the second year, and
$7183 this past year. Sean’s family made the heartfelt decision to channel these proceeds towards the Mental Health Foundation, to support Albertans struggling with their mental health.
