~ Edmonton’s 2024 Mental Health Expo ~
The 2024 Mental Health Expo is part of Outrun the Stigma, a not-for-profit organization that works to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and illness by raising mental health awareness in communities across Canada. Their main annual event, a run for mental health awareness, strives to end mental health stigma, promote a healthy lifestyle and preventative mental health care, provide an opportunity for participants to share their mental health stories, and connect participants with mental health resources and services.
Since 2013, Outrun the Stigma Edmonton has raised more than $90,000 for mental health charities with an annual turnout of more than 300 participants and volunteers!
